Upright Vacuums

We tend to recommend the NV360 because it’s typically the best value at our favorite retailers. We’ve found that the Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 is the easiest to nab for a good deal these days, and it’s the same as the NV352, except for the shape of the handle and the placement of the power button. The NV351 is the same as the NV352, without the handheld motorized brush.

We are thrilled to say that this vacuum has performed well because we started using it in one of our homes over a two-month period. The self-emptying dock is a game changer and we’ve even managed to squeeze six weeks’ worth of debris before emptying the dock (Shark notes that it can hold up to 30 days worth of dust). While we’ve noticed that it has a tendency to pull pet hair behind it, requiring several passes on carpet, we really appreciate the speedy clean it offers and fast charging time. This is the age-old question for vacuums regardless of whether you have pets. For ease of movement, cordless vacuums are great because they’re lightweight and easy to use.

While this pick still has fewer vacuum features than others from Shark, the lift-away pod is a favorite among our testers and powerful suction will make it a go-to in any home. We gave it the highest possible marks for its simple setup—assembled shark robotic vacuums and ready for use in less than five minutes. We found it difficult to move around on high-pile carpets and slightly docked its maneuverability rating for this reason, but we did note that the vacuum is not too heavy overall.

To maintain efficiency, the internal filters should be rinsed every 30 days and allowed to air dry thoroughly before putting them back into the docking system. Also, the Stratos is on the loud side and the tool set is rather weak with only 3 tools. Capable on Multiple Floor Types – Controls on the vacuum handle allow you to easily switch between Hard Floor, Carpet/Low Pile, and Thick Carpet/Area Rugs. We loved the swivel steer design of the Shark SV1106 Navigator Freestyle Upright Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum, which made it easy to move and maneuver around the floor. It held up well over the course of six months and even replaced the vacuum we were using previously. Shark’s return policy allows customers to return products within 60 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling and restocking fees, unless otherwise stated.

It’s also easy to spray cleaning solution onto your floor, thanks to a well-placed button on the handle, but you may also need to refill the solution often if you’re cleaning a larger space frequently. However, the light on the floor head allows you to see into the nooks and crannies of your home and catch debris hiding under furniture. Overall, this vacuum mop combination is an affordable and easy-to-use option for apartment dwellers or busy households that need a quick cleaning tool for daily use.

The NV752 delivers.- It comes with a host of tools, one of which is the TruePet Motorized Brush (a hand pet hair tool). Many of these kinds of tools use a suction driven brushroll (you will often see these referred to as “turbo” tools or something similar). These tools can work ok but they will not have the power of a motorized tool.- It has a HEPA filter. A HEPA filter will remove the likes of tobacco smoke, dust mites, pet dander, pollen, mold spores, etc from the air.

While testing, we liked the extendable hose, which was great for getting into corners, even up on the ceiling. The dustbin takes a bit of effort to remove and empty, especially if you’re vacuuming up hair and dander. But since it’s a whopping 2.8 quarts, you probably won’t even have to empty it that often.
