Genesis Bikes Mountain and Road Bikes

Moving into the racier end of the spectrum, the Zero and Zero Disc are full-carbon road bikes with aggressive geometry. As the price increases, so does the level of tech, with Di2 included in the top-end model. Though we’re a bike shop that sells, builds and fixes bicycles, they’re really just the means to an end; albeit a beautifully designed means to an idyllic end. Our job most importantly is to encourage as many people as we can to get out and ride for transport and enjoyment.

For those interested in dipping their toes into racing, or just want a sportier feeling bike, the Zeal range is Genesis’ entry level carbon option. The geometry is more aggressive than the endurance-oriented Equilibrium, but not quite as ‘head-down bum-up’ as the dedicated racers that are the Zeros. Giant is the largest manufacturer of quality bicycles in the world. What they owned in “build quality” they lacked in brand connectivity. Genesis was hired to help create a brand visual language to help tie the products into a cohesive whole in the global marketplace. Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position.

As with the Day One, there are mudguards, rear pannier rack, and an internally geared rear hub for all weather dependability. But more than that, there’s front and rear dynamo lights, so you never need worry about forgetting/neglecting to charge your lights. An internally geared hub goes a long way to weather proofing the drivetrain, as do the full housed gear cables that help stop dirt degrading your shifting performance.

The bikes are available either with rim brakes or hydraulic discs, but there is only one spec level with these bikes. Both come with 2×11 Shimano 105 drivetrains and carbon forks. The rim brake version can take tyres up to 28c, whereas the disc version can handle 30c.

Even if you’re not a bike enthusiast, you’ve probably noticed the giant bicycle perched on top of the store at 126 Bushkill St. You can see it as you pass by on Route 22 heading into New Jersey. The Tour de Fer is a steel touring-specific bike with a longer, stable wheelbase, and comes complete with mudguards and racks. Finally, for the bikepackers, the Longitude is a fully rigid, steel-framed mid-fat expedition adventure bike. Bikes are excluded from next day delivery to allow for assembly and quality checking by our team of professional bike builders. Specialized also launched a Peter Sagan collection with a largely gold frameset a few years ago. The frame appears to be a Genesis Zero Disc – a model that’s no longer in the range – that has had an extension up front.

The Genesis brand was created in the UK in 2006 by H Young Holdings (owner of the distributor Sportline UK). YouTube’s privacy policy is available here and YouTube’s terms of service is available here. Trek will fill all orders placed before it takes over as store owner. Bike service must be completed before Trek takes over, the site says.

The Genesis bike’s aluminium frame is not only strong but also durable. These steel-tube endurance bikes are perfect for long highway rides because they reduce road noise. These frames can accommodate panniers and mudguards, increasing their versatility. The exterior cable routing and threaded bottom brackets will please mechanics. V2100 from Genesis Bicycles is just what the doctor ordered for on and off-road exercise, and fun.

Its 1×9 drivetrain keeps things simple, while the swept back riser bars give the rider a more upright position. The Mantle is the brand’s XC and endurance bike, and is a full carbon genesis mountain bike 29er hardtail with 100mm travel. The Genesis Tarn is a steel-framed short-travel hardtail with 120mm travel and 27.5in wheels, and is equipped with Maxxis Rekon tyres.
