Ozark Trail Dual Cup Holders Fold-Up Rocking Chair

Our panel of testers at the Wheeler Gorge Campground deemed the Everywhere Chair to be the most comfortable of the three low-to-the-ground chairs we tested. If you’re on the bigger or taller side, you’ll also want to consider factors like the overall weight limit as well as per-seat weight. For example, a chair may have a rating of 500 pounds total, but the per-seat rating may be 250. That means it couldn’t be shared between a 300-pound person and a child. And if you’re very tall (or maybe have knee issues), you’ll want to choose a chair with a higher seat height to make it easy to get in and out. Rocking chairs are relaxing and provide therapeutic benefits for elderly people and others who enjoy rest and relaxation.

If you order one of these, it will arrive ready to go right out of the box. Convenient carrying bag makes is easy to keep in the trunk. Made with a steel frame and rated for up to 300 pounds. The ALPS Mountaineering Adventure Chair packs down to about 7″ x 30″ which makes it a bit more compact than most typical camp chairs.

It is built to provide maximum comfort in any outdoor situation. This loveseat has room built for two and is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities, including tailgating, sporting events, and camping! The Ozark Trail Oversized Mesh Chair from Walmart, although similar to our pick in size, was far less comfortable, with rough-feeling material that was obviously of lower quality.

Many competing camp chairs don’t have this extra corner leg support. They were the most comfortable supportive camp chairs I had ever sat in. The early models had some issues with rivets breaking at the folding parts of the chairs.I replaced the broken rivets with stainless steel screw and locknuts, and still use these chairs today. I just purchased one of their latest models a few weeks ago. Time will tell, but so far if anything, the new chair is better than ever.

It has a high back for increased support and long legs so you sit higher off the ground. The vibrant tie-dye pattern is a happy bonus (and ozark trail canopy ensures you’ll always know which seat is yours). Reading the reviews people love that it is so roomy and that it’s so comfortable.

The inflatable couch is big enough for two people to sit or one person to lounge. It folds to a very petite 13 x 7 x 3.5 inches, so it’ll likely fit into your daypack or beach bag. Just be sure to watch the instruction video on how to inflate it before you take it into the woods with no cell service. Camp loveseats will always be a bit too heavy to backpack with for overnight trips, but at 10 pounds, the Coleman Quattro Double is light enough to carry for a mile or two. So if you’re planning to hike out to catch the perfect sunset, one person can sling this chair over their shoulders while the other carries the backpack full of snacks and a blanket. Note that Coleman is able to shave a few pounds by keeping the metal to a minimum, which means this chair has a rather low seat height of just 14.5 inches.

More importantly, it’s built to survive the beach and wet rafting trips. We found the Coleman Kickback Breeze Chair to be a simple yet very comfortable seat, though women liked it more than men did (many of them judged it to be too snug). Anecdotally, we found that this ozark trail canopy chair category in general is more popular among women than among men, who generally prefer a higher, upright seat. “This is the Platonic ideal of your camp chair,” one of our campers gushed. This low-profile chair is easy to carry, and it adjusts for uneven ground.

Like I said, if you’d rather not send cheap chairs to the landfill, the ALPS Mountaineering Adventure Chair is a good place to start. The backrest is short but strong and the seat’s shape provides a bit more support than most similarly shaped camp chairs. I can sit relatively upright to eat at a camp table or to hold a plate in my lap. And I can slump a bit and still remain comfortable at the beach — even though its shape isn’t all kick-back-and-relax like the ALPS Mountaineering Rendezvous Chair. The Helinox Chair One weighs about 2 pounds, compresses smaller than a 2-liter bottle of soda, and is the most comfortable and easy to stow of the three top backpacking chairs we tested. Like competing chairs, the Chair One has a nylon and mesh seat and aluminum legs, which are linked with shock cord (the chair legs are made out of the same material as high-end tent poles).
