So this Coleman Back Home Instant Screen House is really nicely built and it looks cool. It is incredibly tall and even the doors are with a stand-up height. It is heavy but the wheeled carry bag helps when you transport it around.
While the price of this tent is low, so is the quality and overall design. It fell short in every category and scored among the worst in our entire lineup. This could perhaps provide good value if you are looking for a fair-weather tent for a bug-heavy area. But for most normal camping conditions, the value just isn’t there. If you are looking for a budget 6-person tent, we are sorry, but this isn’t the one we would recommend. It was very easy to install and creates so much more space!
Both sizes offer a lot of usable space and the 10 x 10 is only 25 pounds. The benefits are the easy pop-up installation and fold down, and even come in smaller sizes at even lighter weights if that makes more sense for you. It’s even spacious enough to fit a full-size picnic table inside for 6-8 people, which is helpful when eating in a humid, bug-infested campsite.

The main tent will easily fit a full and a twin air mattress, while the vestibule will hold two chairs, a table, and then some. However, both areas are short, with a max height of coleman ice chest 5′ 8″ — which is only at the top dead center. The vestibule area is a little shorter than that at 5′ 4″, forcing most campers to duck and change sitting down.
