Some are conveniently located near park amenities like beaches, pools, playgrounds and sports fields to add even more fun to your event – while others are more secluded for a more intimate event. The Black Locust disc golf course is located off a gravel lot across from the Martindale Beach parking lot. The course is open year-round during park hours and is not lit at night. Single-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 9 am. Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and 10 pm to 7 am next morning.

The Freedom Chair has a seat width of 20″ and a comfort cushion, 26″ mountain bike wheels, and a MIT-designed and patented lever system with a pull-back brake system. Martindale Beach has family changing rooms and outdoor shower facilities available. A mat provides access across the sand for beach access. Accessible tables are located at the plaza near the concession area and restroom facilities.

Cycle helmets must be worn by all cyclists, at all times, whilst in the Park. Our Bushcraft Birthday Parties are perfect for starting your journey in the world of survival and Bushcraft skills. The group will be split into 2 teams to play, each game will last 4/5 minutes when another game will start or new rules are introduced. Our coaches will teach the basics of balancing, pedalling and confidence on the bike. Games will be used to test newly learnt skills in a fun and informative manner.

The car park system is operated on behalf of Betteshanger Park by Park With Ease Limited. You can pay at any time during your visit or online at up to 48 hours after your visit. We operate a barrier-less admission system which uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. You can enter Betteshanger on foot or by bicycle for free. There are no charges to use the cycle tracks, trails or the play area.
