Ozark Trail vs Yeti Water Bottles, Flasks & Tumblers

All company, product and service names used in this website are for identification purposes only. Use of these names, logos, and brands does not imply endorsement. Next, we have the anti-skid feet, which protect your tabletop from your super-heavy cooler. Even so, try not to drag it around if you don’t want to ruin the paint job on your truck bed or the excellent finish on your floor. It might seem a little disappointing that there are only 3 sizes to go on, but at least they went for the most common sizes used by people.

They also have daisy chain attachment points, built-in bottle openers, thicker insulation, a compression strap and a 600 denier outer coating that’s easy to wash. Ozark Trail’s hard-sided coolers all feature one-piece construction without any seams. This allows the coolers to keep ice cold for long periods of time. Each Ozark Trail hard-sided cooler also has walls that are between two-and-a-half and three inches thick for excellent insulation. Best of all, Ozark Trail hard-sided coolers all feature a thick, freezer-grade rubber gasket that creates an effective seal for the lid. They utilize strong T-style latches to keep the lid securely closed, too.

Yeti Coolers, on the other hand, has a rock-solid reputation. Its ice life is among the best in the industry and its products are designed to last a lifetime. Ozark Trail, despite their best intentions, doesn’t quite live up to the level of ice retention and toughness of a Yeti. While they do have many of the same features, there are more notable quality issues with Ozark Trail models. This can include things such as premature leaking, warping of the lid, and stitching coming undone.

The double-walled vacuum insulation of this model can and will keep your drinks hot or cold. However, don’t expect spectacular results – it is, after all, a lot cheaper than Yeti’s offering. Weighing 8.8 ounces, this lightweight lowball is made out of stainless steel and is available in only one color – silver.

We would welcome some additional color choices and perhaps a slight facelift to the more plain-looking models in the future. Our favorite feature of the Ozark Trail Soft Coolers is their additional storage options. Every model will come with at least one separate zippered pocket and many will have multiple zippered pockets in addition to mesh side pockets. All models are super easy to transport thanks to multiple carrying methods including optional wheels, padded shoulder straps, and more.

To start with, you will find an oversized drain that makes short work of any melted ice that is inside. The threaded drain can easily be removed and will be held in place thanks to the mounted chain it is on. In terms of size election, having three sizes is a bit lackluster. But Ozark Trail has managed to incorporate sizes that are most common for people to want. You have a small cooler, a medium cooler, and a large cooler.

It’s a durable and versatile product that easily outperforms most of the competition. This tumbler is vacuum-sealed and made out of double-walled, high-grade stainless steel – in terms of construction quality, it is just as well-made as Yeti Rambler. For this, I did a bit of testing – I filled both this tumbler and the one made by Yeti with the same amount of cubed ice and left them on my kitchen counter for about 10 hours.

Manufactured from thick 18/8 stainless steel, this mug is also very rugged and capable of withstanding a lot of wear and tear. There was a similar amount of ice remaining in both tumblers when I came to check them in the morning. However, there was more melted water ozark trail canopy in the Ozark Trail tumbler. I’ve been using this particular tumbler for quite some time now and I absolutely love it. Few things in life are as disheartening as sipping a lukewarm drink, so the right cooler is essential to keeping refreshments – well, refreshing.

Leave the cooler open to air dry completely before putting it away. If there are stubborn stains on the cooler, make a paste with baking soda and warm water, and rub it over the stains until they lift. But with a variety of ozark trail canopys to choose from, finding the best style to suit your needs can be difficult. You need to select the right type, size, construction, and other features to make sure the cooler is the perfect fit for your usual outdoor trips. As soon as we realized the Ozark Trail was not going to work I got online and ordered an RTIC.
