Review: Ozark Trail 45 liter, Backpacking Backpack

I contemplated stepping down to the 45 degree bag, but thankfully, did not. For the second overnight hike in which I used the pack, I left the hammock at home and stuffed an REI Stratus insulated pad and lightweight bivy inside. Prior to taking it out on the trail, I did give it two coats of silicone spray so that it would shed water. The bottom line is that hiking is great for families, and the more you get young kids on the trail, the better.

They’re spaces to keep your valuables, such as mobile phones, cups, watches, and other accessories. Whoever said, “it’s the little things in life that matter,” or whatever variation thereof, ozark trail chair was definitely on to something, especially when it comes to hiking and backpacking gear. The one downside with integrated rain flies is the lack of ventilation and temperature control.

That works for the majority of the market, ozark trail canopy but if you happen to be heavier than that, you’ll find that pickings can be slim. While it might not match the durability of renowned brands, the substantial savings could be better utilized for other camping necessities. Having a separate rain fly for a 2- or 3- person tent makes sense because multiple people can split up the weight a little easier on longer hikes.

I think you could strap things to the outside, as it has a daisy chain and two loops at the bottom. I agree with the other reviewer though, I would not go over about pounds with this pack. I picked up one of these at Walmart also and I have been pleasantly surprised with it. It only weighed in at 11.6 ounces on my scales and for 28 liters that tops some of the big boy manufacturers. Empty, the pack weighs 14.8 ounces on my scale at home.

Welcome all and thank you for joining us on this journey to provide you, the customer, quality products at low prices. It’s hard to guess which kids will take to hiking like a fish to water and which ones will beg off. My kids were toddlers the ozark trail chair first time we went backpacking on a short, level trail where I carried everything and I knew they could do the hike with no problem. My four-year-old wanted to know when we could go again but my three-year-old was uninterested in another trip.
