The mattresses that I used in the picture above are slightly smaller than queen size, but almost queen-sized, give or take a couple of inches. These 4 mattresses take up the entire tent, and there’s hardly any space leftover for camping gear. To accommodate 10 people in this tent, it’s almost shoulder-to-shoulder sleeping, although there’s some space down the middle for just a tiny bit of camping gear.
I received two queen air mattress on time but did not receive the tent till well over time estimated delivery. I almost went to refund the tent, but it did not qualify @ the time. So this Ozark Trail 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent with Light is really nicely built and with several very useful details. The tent is with an express setup design and very suitable for ozark trail shower tent people who change the place frequently, and the integrated light sets it apart from its closest competitors. This is a steel structure with 4 telescopic legs poles that continue into crossed roof poles which you can see in the picture above, so the weight should not be a surprise. There is one extra pole that you add above the door to have a small brim.
This tent sets up in under two minutes with the innovative instant frame design for easy and fun camping. This 10-Person tent requires no assembly because the poles are pre-attached to the tent. The two-room, cabin style tent has panoramic views with windows on all sides and room to stand up with a huge 78-inch center height. It comfortably fits two queen airbeds or up to 10 campers in sleeping bags on the floor.
This is also a cabin style tent with straight but angled walls, though you do not have a stand-up height, the tent is with the peak height of 66 inches (168 cm). The dimensions and the shape are the same as in their Ozark Trail 6-Person Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style ozark trail instant cabin tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles. Large dome tents are also an option, and although they’re a little less flashy, they have some perks of their own. First off, dome tents are typically less expensive since they have fewer total parts and less sophisticated frames.
Unfortunately, the steel pole in the back of the tent did not lock into position, so this tent is defective. I did not continue to set up the screen porch (which has no floor) or put the rainfly on. I did go inside the tent to stand up and not hunched over and noticed the mesh ceiling with lots of ventilation. Layout wise is virtually identical to the Core Instant Cabin we evaluated for our 10 person tent roundup, but delivers those same massive interior dimensions for about $100 less.
