We bought this screen house at an auction for $5. Great for our buffet line for family camping. Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke.
It seems like I am the second person to review this product, and the second one to give it a 1 Star rating. Goes together well, but as soon as we got a little shower…. Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can.
We will not replace the 3-way hubs again. Had the screen house for 4 years. A gust of wind probably around 50 MPH took ozark trail screen house it down. Broke all four corner hubs and bent all 1b poles beyond repair. We loved it when it stayed together.
I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK. I could not even get the top frame together with out it either bending the poles or coming apart. The screen tent came with missing and broken parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket.
The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter. Wasn’t even able to get the tent set up in a mild wind before one of the corner plastic parts broke. I purchased my tent a couple of years ago, but time passed and just got it out to put it up.
We are looking for these pieces if anyone wants to sell. The campground received a moderate rain on the second night and the roof collected water in several places, causing the screen house to collapse. This was not a heavy rain by any means as no other shelters or tents collapsed. The weight of the water actually bent several poles on the roof and one leg. This probably could have been prevented by adding more yellow support poles to the roof.
Now unable to get all the parts I need to make it worth repairing. I purchased Model #WT98010R and I’ve had it for 2 years and have put it up probably 6 times. This summer I had it up in the backyard after a birthday party for several days and one of the poles broke during a bad storm while I was at work. I bought two of these tents new last year from a yard sale.
All items can be inspected in-person (and you are encouraged to do so) prior to bidding. If you can’t inspect, you can enjoy return protection by either using Buyers Assurance or becoming a Premium Buyers Club member. You either need six people or twelve arms to hold the thing together when assembling. Then the screening doesn’t fit right over the frame. I am sorry that I ever purchased it. Hopefully I can find a replacement part.
