The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. We bought this screen house at an auction for $5.
Anyone have spare parts for sale? I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. That’s what we get with foreign made products.
Yes, I know it will, so what gives? A Pavlovian reaction to super-size doses of advertising? Greed, optimism, stinginess, and materialistic guilt thrashing together in a dance of futility that leads straight to the ozark trail screen house checkout counter? To make matters worse, sometimes I’m so ashamed of the purchase that I can’t even bring myself to return it. You either need six people or twelve arms to hold the thing together when assembling.
We love the size of the tent and we used it for a week with no problems. The second time we set it up one of the poles snapped and now I can’t find where I can get replacement poles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have large screen house and I love it. It gets used very hard every summer. It’s starting to wear out and I’m looking to replace but can’t find one anywhere.
Well I’m a camper and I intend to use this weekly. I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together. The new types that go right up without connections are so much better.
She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. Had the screen house for 4 years. A ozark trail canopy gust of wind probably around 50 MPH took it down. Broke all four corner hubs and bent all 1b poles beyond repair. We loved it when it stayed together.
Bottom of screen doesn’t even tough the ground. This tent is only $47 at Walmart, however that is not the point. The hubs on the tent and the construction of the design are worthless.
I have been trying to replace it ever since I lost it in a wind storm. I put it up in my yard for my now wife’s bridal shower. I had it spiked down and secured really good. It looked wonderful in the yard so I decided to leave it for a while.
But, the slightest wind or rain and the whole thing comes down because of flimsy roof design. After multiple storms/fall downs, the screen portion has suffered some massive wounds. The rest of the process was funny too, with wimpy frizzy ozark trail canopy guylines, and inexplicable bits of plastic that are supposed to tighten them. I had to use every knot I’ve learned from rock climbing. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse. I do have some reservations left, though.
