Ozark Trail 12 x 14 Screen House Reviews

The way the poles clip into hubs is a little hard to get apart. It seems like I am the second person to review this product, and the second one to give it a 1 Star rating. Goes together well, but as soon as we got a little shower….

‘Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screenhouse frame’ got the first laugh. The “frame” barely stayed together on the ground. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere. I ozark trail screen house thought of resorting to duct tape, but since I had none handy, with great finesse I managed to lift each corner one pipe segment at a time. Some middle sections fell out but I had a standing frame of sorts, swaying and wobbling.

The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles ozark trail canopy broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. We bought this screen house at an auction for $5.

Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, ozark trail screen house and cut my losses while I can. We bought this screen tent about 2 years ago and just took it out of the box to put it up. I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK.

The overall construction is about what you expect for the price. Got one of these out of a storage unit at auction. Obviously used, but in good shape. Without instructions, it took me about 30 minutes to put it together and get it erected, by myself. Just had to comment after reading these old reviews of folks who couldn’t seem to set it up without either A.

I purchased this Screen House two years ago. It goes up OK, poles have color coded stickers on them. Been through several severe storms while camping with no issues. Keeps sun and bugs at bay which was my main reason for buying it. Seems harder to take down than to put up.

I could not even get the top frame together with out it either bending the poles or coming apart. This is totaly wrong that a company doesn’t keep parts in stock. I was told to try and return it to the place I purchased it or wait the 4-6 weeks.

She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. Had the screen house for 4 years. A gust of wind probably around 50 MPH took it down. Broke all four corner hubs and bent all 1b poles beyond repair. We loved it when it stayed together.

An absolute waste of money and time, and cost plenty of aggravation. Absolutely no offer to resolve the issue. Absolutely no apology for the poor quality of the product. Browse Ozark Trail’s top-rated hiking and camping gear and more. Find something simple to set up, reliable, durable and with product support. Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts.
