Trimmers & Shavers Body Grooming Gifts for Men Braun

Electric foil shavers, like this Braun model, feature rotating blades that are covered by a perforated foil shield. According to many users, they’re gentler on skin than rotary blades and are best for everyday trimming at short lengths. Even the best electric shaver for men is often underestimated by the general shaving public.

“It’s designed to move in a circular motion and adjust to the contours of your face,” says Quallis. Dr. Hartman says, “Rotary electric razors suit men with regular to tough skin types, and with a medium to coarse beard density. For “washable” shavers, turn the device on and rinse the shaving head under warm or hot running water. They use the same motors and shaving heads and the only differences are related to included accessories (like cleaning stations or trimmer attachments), color, wet/dry or dry-only use.

In fact, I wouldn’t really recommend the Series 1 as your main shaver either. Again, I’m not taking into consideration Braun’s travel razors which in all honesty aren’t very capable and should not be considered for regular use. When that’s the case, I will present separately each generation and also show you which one is better and what to choose depending on the still available options.

Braun’s Series 7 razors have been around in various forms for more than a decade, and they have built a reputation for producing close shaves, being durable, and providing convenience and value. It’s still our favorite razor, and it has become an even better choice because braun shavers it’s significantly less expensive than it used to be. Braun’s top-of-the-line electric razor offers the best shave—even for heavy beards—at a higher price. Gently lift and cut even the toughest hairs on your 1-, 3-, or 7-day beard with our powerful ProLift trimmer.

I’ve been using these for years and never had any issues with any of my Braun razors. But buying a Series 3 ProSkin cc model for the price of a solo Series 8 for example just doesn’t make sense to me. For the other series, meaning from the Series 3 to the Series 7 70, I would get a solo model instead. The 9370cc has a braun hair removal single cleaning mode instead of 3, but that doesn’t matter as much in practice. It’s a useful accessory that will only slightly increase your cost of ownership (provided you follow these simple tips and you use a third-party solution). In this manner, I don’t have to replace or refill the cartridge for a few months.
