Getting our hands dirty with the top-rated 9×9 Neso Grande lightweight beach canopy tent. Many testers found other chairs more comfortable and easier to put together than the Nemo Moonlite Reclining Camp Chair. Similar to the Coleman Cooler Quad Chair in size, the Ozark Trail Oversized Mesh Camp Chair with Cooler was far less comfortable, with rough-feeling polyester that was obviously of lower quality.
Like the Seina, our former pick for sand, the Mac Sports has a carrying capacity of up to 150 pounds. However, we think the Mac Sport’s much larger internal space—6.7 cubic feet, compared with the Seina’s 3.6 feet—is worth the higher price. Like the regular Mac Sports wagon, the Heavy Duty model comes with a one-year warranty. Also a good choice for youngsters who are new to hiking, or who need a rugged pack for toting school items. The Coleman Cooler Quad has been our pick since 2016, through numerous camping trips and several testing sessions.
After new testing, we still love the Coleman Cooler Quad Chair for most outdoors situations. But we also have picks offering better support, higher weight capacity, and greater portability. This wagon has wider wheels that can traverse sandy terrain with ease. And it comes with the same durable build of the standard Mac Sports wagon, but with twice the internal volume.
With spring underway and summer fast approaching, I’m already drawing up a list of state parks I’d like to visit this camping season.
