Without knobby tires, the Marshall isn’t going too far into mud or snow, but it is great for easier trails and dirt roads. My testing has been done on gravel roads and wet, muddy trails at around 5° C with a bit of snow on the ground. The Marshall looks like a mountain bike with a comfy cruiser feel to it. It still lets you stand if you’re trying to get up a particularly steep part of a hill or over a rough section on the trail. This will release the latch, allowing you to lift it up and open the seat compartment. If you leave the battery in the bike, there is a rubber port cover you need to move before plugging in the bike. This helps keep the battery dry if you get caught out in the rain. The throttle is a thumb lever on the left side of the bike, next to the LED panel.
