I found I was right at the front during group rides, often buzzing past friends on the harsher terrain / wet muddy conditions. One particular group ride down an infamouse descent in horrible wet conditions I really let the bike go and it flowed over the terrain really well, although riding in conditions like that always reminds me of the advantages of an MTB front mudguard. We’ve partnered with Freewheel as a solution to offer Genesis bikes online whilst supporting local bike shops at the same time. Please note that Freewheel currently only deliver within the UK at this time.

If bought on our website, please have your order number on hand. The other contact points were all Genesis branded and I think that those are all personal choice, especially a saddle and I didn’t get on with the OEM one particularly well, but it was fine on shorter rides. Yes probably, but during some longer gravel rides I have definitely appreciated having options to change bottle height to accommodate larger framepacks. It’s really hard to give safe and accurate technical advice over the internet! We’d always advise going to your local Genesis dealer, where they can see the bike and diagnose any technical or mechanical issues that you’re having with your bike. Packaging SystemGenesis created a holistic packaging system that was impactful and highlighted specific genesis mountain bike features across a product offering that reached almost 3000 SKU’s. Over ten years the range expanded beyond commuter bikes to include road, mountain, cyclo-cross, gravel, kids and fat bikes.

Product PresentationFrom free-ride, long-travel mountain models to fun city bikes, the presentation is a key attractor on the sales floor. This Genesis Fugio 10 is a fun, adaptable, robust bike for exploring local trails (did I mention it made me smile?) and for the occasional overnight trip or commuting. If you want an entry-level gravel bike that’s focussed on the fun element and is adaptable this could be the bike for you, although the Fugio 20 or 30 might be worth considering for the frame material and groupset upgrades.

Look to the Equilibrium if you’re after a performance road package or to the Tour de fer if you desire a rugged reliable touring package, ready to go off the peg. If I was to describe this bike in three words it would be solid, capable and fun – the smaller wheels and frame geometry made this bike feel playful and nimble. It’s not the lightest bike or the cheapest but It just wants to be ridden and challenge what a gravel bike is capable of. I have just come off riding a Lauf Seigla round the ‘Mills and genesis mountain bike Moors’ winter rides and the Dirty Reiver and the two bikes are worlds apart. Giant is the largest manufacturer of quality bicycles in the world. What they owned in “build quality” they lacked in brand connectivity. Genesis was hired to help create a brand visual language to help tie the products into a cohesive whole in the global marketplace.

The Genesis™ bicycle rack has the simple “floating” concentric rings that look like an attractive outdoor sculpture. When full, these same concentric rings park bikes safely and securely. The Genesis™ offers two contact points, at front and rear, for locking. The unique concentric design of the Genesis™ bike rack helps guide bikes into proper parking position while providing double the parking space of typical serpentine racks.
