As we mentioned above, the canopy of a 10×10 slant leg tent is 40% smaller than a straight leg canopy tent of the same size. First, you’ll want to make sure that the ground on which you’re placing your canopy is flat. Ensure that the ground is free of large rocks and tripping hazards, as this is where most of your party will be getting their meals or congregating. We remove the brim from the part and do a little bit of clean up. Normally this is where I need to go back and make adjustments to the measurements but this time it slides right on with a snug fit. While they did seal up from the inside, water was still able to sneak in through the seams, and the tarp over the top of it didn’t provide enough coverage to protect it.
