I don’t blame the bike for this but the seller and manufacturer. Even when we tried contacting both the seller and manufacturer they didn’t want to just ship a part out, they instead wanted us to ship the entire thing back and gives us a whole new bike set. That would have been fine, but we had already assembled most of the mountain bike and we didn’t want to repack the entire thing hyper bicycles just to ship it out and get another mountain bike that we would have to reassemble. The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain bike, with Shimono gear shifters. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so. The quality of the bike is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a great gift for their child. Adjust the front brake pads by pulling the silver wire tight and holding it in place, then tighten the screw back up- You may need an extra pair of hands to do it correctly. You can tighten the tire’s nuts and the front brake’s cap by using an adjustable wrench. Make sure everything is assembled correctly and tightened up.
For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use.
Admittedly, neither of us are in peak physical condition, sitting around the 220 LBS mark for personal weight, but the bike has a rider capacity of 275 LBS which is more than enough. Even if we were to load a bag for the day and our bows or crossbows, we wouldn’t even come close to hitting the maximum weight capacity. Beyond the rider weight, you can also use a trailer to take the strain off of your back and pull your gear behind you. I recently purchased this bike for my son’s 7th birthday, and he absolutely loves riding it. He constantly asks if he can use it, even if it’s late at night.
