Hinchcliff referred questions about the sale to a person at Trek who was unavailable. EASTON, Pa. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle has acquired Genesis Bicycles, a single-store operator in the Lehigh Valley. Trek will fill all orders placed before it takes over as store owner. Bike service must be completed before Trek takes over, the site says.

Product PresentationGenesis created the global product presentation for the world’s largest quality bicycle manufacturer. UK bike brand Genesis began in 2001 as a single bike – the Genesis Day One – and exploded in popularity. The store’s website currently lists new bikes from Trek, Electra, Salsa, All-city and Jamis. The site said a retirement sale would begin Thursady and the store will be closed May 4-7 as trek prepares to re-open under the new ownership. Tomias Hinchcliff opened the store in 1974 “with two bikes in a tiny storefront in downtown Easton,” he said on the store website.

What they owned in “build quality” they lacked in brand connectivity. Genesis was hired to help create a brand visual language to help tie the products into a cohesive whole in the global marketplace. Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position.
