Performance-wise, the bike gets a 250-watt hub motor; and this is why I say it’s designed for an urban setting, rather than a rough and tough environment. Having owned a few hub-motor electric mountain bikes in the past, I can say that hub motors don’t exactly appreciate heavy jumps and prolonged exposure to rough terrain. Nowadays electric bicycles come in all shapes and sizes. What started out as a commuter-focused machine has quickly evolved to cover all facets of the cycling world. From e-road bikes to cutting edge electric mountain bikes, the e-bike world is now rife with options for folks of all cycling backgrounds, yes, including BMX.

The Hyper E-Ride bikes by Hyper Bicycles offer an affordable and user-friendly option for those looking to enter the world of electric bikes. With a strong focus on city commuting and impressive build quality, these bikes provide incredible value for their budget-friendly price. While they may not have all the features and capabilities of higher-end models, they are a reliable and accessible choice for beginners or those on a tight budget. The limited battery range and some minor performance issues may be drawbacks for some, but overall, the Hyper E-Ride bikes offer a great entry point into the world of e-bikes. In the intervening years Hyper Bicycles has maintained its position as a leader in BMX, with a full line of products for BMX racing and freestyle BMX. Hyper Bicycles has continued its commitment sponsoring riders, teams, events, and series.

The trellis frame provides the strength to harness the incredible power of the supercharged engine and the balanced flex to achieve optimal rigidity and pliability for aggressive sport riding. The system limit (Rider + bike + luggage, etc.) is 135kg. However, riders above 95kgs should regularly inspect their wheels or get a qualified bike mechanic to do so.

The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock offers precise damping for enhanced traction, comfort and feedback to the rider. The KYB AOS-II (Air-Oil-Separate) low friction cartridge fork offers superb action; initial stroke is smooth and compliant followed by progressive damping through the end of the stroke. The front fork is fully adjustable for compression and rebound damping, as well as preload. The non-removable decals have changed to a more eye-grabbing white and the top of the wheel features the Ride Bikes logo. Each wheel features a mix of carbon, blue and pink spokes – each individually hand-masked and painted before the wheels are built. The Ride Bikes Bro Elite Team takes this philosophy to the high-adrenaline world of American Crit racing.

Just like the McLaren supercars, these hyper e-bikes also come with power modes that the riders can choose from using the digital display. The Extreme range is a full-suspension mountain e-bike designed for maximum off-road riding and control, while the Sport series is suited for fast cruising around cities and hyper bike off-road tracks. All the aforementioned five power modes are based on the settings found in McLaren Sport, and both the Sport and Extreme models are equipped with Pirelli tires to weather all kinds of roads and bumps. The Extreme 600W and Extreme 250W feature SRAM wireless XX Eagle Transmission 12-speed drivetrains.

Transform effortlessly between sport and commuter position while you ride. You may not be able to sprint like Evan Bausbacher or wall-ride like Chris Tolley, but at least now you can ride the same wheels they ride. The wheels are available in the same formats as our regular HYPER wheels.

Available depths include 38mm, 50mm and 65mm as well as all featuring rim brake and disc brake versions. My bf got mad at me for buying it, cuz he wanted to get him something else. My son likes this bike more than the one my bf got him ? it sounds so realistic.
