We were able to catch them nursing. We also saw a lioness with her 1-yr old 2 cubs relaxing in a tree. Our elephant encounters in Tarangire NP were very exciting, we saw lots, including baby elephants. The Great Migration was another highlight, and we saw literally 1000’s of animals on the Serengeti plains. The pace of the tour was very fast, but perfect in my opinion.

He answers questions and responds to requests without hesitation, often foreseeing needs without having to ask. Plus, he is always patient and prepared. This is my first Gate 1 trip, and I am already looking over the travel brochure that was awaiting me at home for my next trip. I hope your other tours and tour guides are as excellent as this trip. I am well-travelled and Charl is the best tour manager I have ever encountered. It was everything I wanted and more.
The lodging choices were exceptional. The food ranged from very good to excellent, depending on the venue. Having the 4 nights in Zanzibar after the safari portion was so nice, as we got to “unwind” from our whirlwind tour. I had an absolutely wonderful time on the Africa trip! I’m still processing all that I experienced.
Items not removed after 7 Days will be considered abandoned and will be sold for storage fees with the buyer recieving a credit for the amount minus any storage fees. All tools that may be required for disassembly and removal of auction items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please do your due diligence during inspection to determine what will be needed.
Panda & Joseph made the difference in my experience on the Namibia trip…you couldn’t ask for a better tour manager and driver. I trusted them with my safety and in their suggestions for activities and lunch options during their free time. WHEN I book a return trip to Namibia, it will definitely have to be with the both of them.
She is very personable and was attentive to our needs and took the time to be sure everyone was doing okay and having a splendid holiday. She was knowledgeable about every schwinn electric bike part of the itinerary and added life to every aspect of our trip. She also answered questions without hesitation and ALWAYS HAD a smile for us. Occasionally, she would treat us to a joke to make us laugh. She was sure to verbally tell what the next day would bring and followed up in writing to be sure everyone was fully aware of what was coming.
Don’s guidance and expertise combined to make our trip a “brilliant jewel” in the GATE 1 crown. Thank you, as always, for great memories. I just wanted to mention specifically how impressed we were with Jason as a guide. The South Africa trip had the most travel involved than any other Gate 1 trip and he seamlessly prepared us for each part of the journey. He never overwhelmed us with details, but he ensured we were always clear on what to expect. He was also attentive to each member of the group and was very knowledgeable at answering questions on a wide range of topics.
