I have heard about Gate1 in the past and I have shared Gate1 travel with others, although this was my first experience with the company. The trip was very organized, the tour guide was great and fully aware of our itinerary and our travel was always on time. The tour also provided down time to relax if so desired.

The animals were more spectacular than I even imagined. The peace and justice issues with Mandela’s history were very impactful. There was a lot of bus riding, but the countryside is diverse and beautiful. Our group was diverse but what a well-traveled knowledgeable and fun-loving group of travelers!!! Our guide, Anni, was totally amazing. She was decisive, proactive and left no stone unturned when a problem turned up.
