Also, one of the parts broke before using it one time. I have purchased outdoor sporting goods from Coleman and they not only have much better products, but they stand behind what they sell. This model has been discontinued and I only need two parts to fix it.
This is totaly wrong that a company doesn’t keep parts in stock. I was told to try and return it to the place I purchased it or wait the 4-6 weeks. Well I’m a camper and I intend to use this weekly. One mad idea often begets another, and that is how this $34.95 purchase came about. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere in the blog, I’m getting married in Joshua Tree on August 2nd, outdoors.
I bought two of these tents new last year from a yard sale. The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke.
Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts. I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. This still has a lot of life left in it and I would love to be able to fix it. We have the majority of the parts, including the screen room still intact.
No information on where I can get replacement parts. I need one of part number GBLL-05 (three-way hub gable left) and one of part number GBLR-05 (three-way hub gable right). I have been trying to replace it ever since I lost it in a wind storm. I put it up in my yard for my now wife’s bridal shower. I had it spiked down and secured really good. It looked wonderful in the yard so I decided to leave it for a while.

I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good screen house spend the additional money and get a Swiss Gear. Don’t try to save a few dollars and end up with a POS like this one. All items can be inspected in-person (and you are encouraged to do so) prior to bidding. If you can’t inspect, you can enjoy return protection by either using Buyers Assurance or becoming a Premium Buyers Club member.
Then the instructions start to get really funny. ‘Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screenhouse frame’ got the first laugh. The “frame” barely stayed together on the ground. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere.
Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can. We bought this screen tent about 2 years ago and just took it out of the box to put it up. I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK. I could not even get the top frame together with out it either bending the poles or coming apart.
The overall construction is about what you expect for the price. Got one of these out of a storage unit at auction. Obviously used, but in good shape. Without instructions, it took ozark trail screen house me about 30 minutes to put it together and get it erected, by myself. Just had to comment after reading these old reviews of folks who couldn’t seem to set it up without either A.
