Bottom of screen doesn’t even tough the ground. This tent is only $47 at Walmart, however that is not the point. The hubs on the tent and the construction of the design are worthless.
Well I’m a camper and I intend to use this weekly. I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together. The new types that go right up without connections are so much better.
Childhood memories of failures with Tinker Toys came flooding back. But, with determined hope, I began to wade through the instructions. Now and then I walk into a store, it tends to be named ___Mart, and buy something I know is going to bring nothing but grief and heartbreak.
Can someone point me to the person please. Tried to buy replacement parts but they were discontinued. The screening and roof are all in excellent condition, along with all the poles, etc. With two more roof poles, I’m sure this could be prevented. I have purchased outdoor sporting goods from Coleman and they not only have much better products, but they stand behind what they sell. After setting it up, it seems to me folks just don’t know how to exercise a little common sense and patience.
I have been trying to replace it ever since I lost it in a wind storm. I put it up in my yard for my now wife’s bridal shower. I had it spiked down and secured really good. It looked wonderful in the yard so I decided to leave it for a while.
I came in from work one day and to my surprise it was 60 yards away from me all torn up from landing on my neighbor’s spiked fence. It was torn up pretty ozark trail canopy bad so I decided to trash it. Find the best hiking/camping product for your next outdoor adventure using our independent reviews and ratings.
This probably could have been prevented by adding more yellow support poles to the roof. The screen tent came with missing and broken parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket.
Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can. We bought this screen tent about 2 years ago and just took it out of the box to put it up. I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK.
An absolute waste of money and time, and cost plenty of aggravation. Absolutely no offer to resolve the issue. Absolutely no apology for the poor quality of the product. Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts.
Anyone have spare parts for sale? I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. That’s what we get with foreign made products.
