I realize these are “tetherless,” but scooters laying on the sidewalk is unacceptable. I don’t know the answer to this problem, but the city and the company need to ensure the sidewalks are clear and safe. However, on Wednesday, April 13, when I drove by the University Inn, I was not pleased to see TWO scooters laying down in the middle of the sidewalk. I have seen them just laying down in the grass beside a sidewalk. It held a 155-lb adult flying through the air, even though I was half expecting a pedal to snap off on my repeated landings. But no, the thing is overbuilt for its ratings, just like Kent’s lawyers surely insisted that it should be.

Having not ridden Kent’s new e-bike (yet, but hopefully that changes), it’s hard for me to judge it too hard on the spec sheet alone. But for the $1,498 price, it’s at least an interesting addition to a slew of Walmart e-bikes that so far haven’t taken a shot at such higher-end (or perhaps even midlevel) markets. The bike is built on a steel kent hybrid bike frame and sports 20″ wheels. My 7-year-old nephew struggles to touch the ground while my nearly 9-year-old nephew fits on the bike easily. The fact that younger kids can’t fit on it is probably a good thing. Kids should be a certain age before they are mature enough to handle the extra power of an e-bike, even a low-power one like this.
Our activities are child led, meaning that you may have booked a Nature crown party for example and your child may then decide to make a den or play on the mud slide. Though you may have signed up for a certain activity with a certain end product, please be aware that your children may find something far more entertaining to do! No matter what they choose to do, we will ensure they are being safe and supervised during their activities. Once the basics are covered we will move onto some conventional game modes like; Team Deathmatch, Capture the Unicorn, King of the hill and Battlezone Battle Royale!
