Billet brake and clutch hand levers, stylized and strong aluminum chain adjuster block and front axle sliders blend a performance look and real function. A taller touring windscreen is available for reduced wind blast to the rider on longer rides. The hyper bike bold LED taillight and rear turn signal design creates a single wide, sharp accent running horizontally across the bottom of the Hayabusa’s tail section. The Hayabusa kanji and name logos have been styled to align with the bodywork’s modern look.
The fastest motorcycle in the world (currently in production) is the Kawasaki Ninja H2 R which makes over 300 horsepower and can surpass 250mph. Instead, we’re basing our ‘fastest Top 10’ on production road bikes with the highest power-to-weight ratios, which, in simple terms, is the best indicator available to acceleration and, all other things being equal, ultimate speed. Chosen for its high-rpm performance, the centrifugal-type supercharger is incredibly efficient at compressing air (at up to 2.4x atmospheric pressure) while minimizing heat.

The Öhlins® TTX36 rear shock offers precise damping for enhanced traction, comfort and feedback to the rider. The KYB® AOS-II (Air-Oil-Separate) low friction cartridge fork offers superb action; initial stroke is smooth and compliant followed by progressive damping through the end of the stroke. The front fork is fully adjustable for compression and rebound damping, as well as preload.

The mode/set switch on the left handlebar controls various Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) settings and adjustments, including cruise control operation. Both the shift and rear brake levers are easily adjustable to the rider’s preference. A steering damper attached to the frame and the lower fork bracket provide damping force to suppress unwanted vibration and steering forces, but are tuned to provide hyper bike a light steering feel at lower speeds. Hydraulic clutch activation further reduces the lever pull while providing the rider a good sense of the clutch’s friction zone. The new exhaust has high-flow catalyzers in the mid-pipe and within each silencer to further reduce HC, CO, and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Dual O2 sensors provide instantaneous feedback to the ECM for smooth, clean EFI operation.
