For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use.
A friend got tired of hearing me talk about riding and decided he also wanted to get into cycling. A few days later, he showed up at my door with a $99 Hyper Shocker full-suspension bike from Walmart. The instructions were not completely helpful for assembling the bike because they were basic and very general, but overall I found it easy to do and I had the entire thing setup in about an hour or so. Eric has already committed to a schedule of events, races, and other promotional opportunities to provide visibility to our effort and create the foundation for Hyper Bicycles continued involvement in Mountain Biking. Hyper plans to support and promote Mountain Biking by producing top quality products for Racers and enthusiasts. In terms of the 20 mile claim, we were able to easily accomplish this in city streets with minimal inclines.
This was one of the only things that I was skeptical about when purchasing the Hyper MTB Ebike. I had not used a pedal assist Ebike and so I wasn’t sure just how much effort would be required from me as the rider. It’s not that I am a lazy person, it’s more that I was considering how I planned to use this bike. In my mind, I was envisioning a cold November evening having hunted all day and facing a ride back to camp with all of my gear.
I’d say that you can comfortably expect the ride time of your hyper Ebike to live up to the manufacturers description. Hyper states that the MTB Ebike has a battery life of 1 hour or 20 miles and I tested this out hyper mountain bike to see how my bike fared in the wild. All that was required on my end was installing the handlebars, pedals, and battery. The trouble with ATVs is of course the amount of noise they make when you are using them.
As far as cheap mountain bikes go, overall the Havoc Hyper FS mountain bike isn’t really all that bad. The next problem is that the bike seat is hard and uncomfortable, if you only ride short distances it isn’t a problem, but if you do between 2 through 5 miles you will start to feel it. I have tightened it a few times and it now finally stays in place, but it can be dangerous when it randomly slides over while riding. But in reality, I only spend a fraction of my time on mountain bikes. With few exceptions, we all like to think of ourselves as hardcore mountain bikers. But the reality is that most of us probably spend far more time riding places other than mountain bike trails.
All sections of our society are part of this effort, not just the erudite, as all humanity can benefit from our efforts to build a better society. The incredible amount of information available to us sometimes makes our job harder, not easier. Sadly I cannot give further instructions because it depends on how the handlebars tangle, but if you carefully look it over you should be able to follow the wires to straighten it all out. That said, there is also some truth in “you get what you pay for.” If you want an off-the-shelf, hyper bike bulletproof mountain bike, you need to be ready to pony up some bucks and head down to your local bike shop. Finally, do a little research and make sure you buy the best type of bike for your needs. It’s easy to get lulled into buying the flashy mountain-styled bikes on store shelves.
There is only so much a motor can do and you shouldn’t expect an Ebike to have the same towing capacity as an ATV. For those that are new to assembling mountain bikes you may find this article helpful. The instructions that comes with the Hyper Havoc FS Mountain Bike are very basic and show generalized pictures and instructions that sometimes aren’t very helpful. So in this guide I will help hyper bicycles walk you through assembling the mountain bike with easy to follow step by step instructions. A few problems I found with the bike are as follows-First, I don’t like how the handle bars are designed because you need a wrench to tighten them up and put them on. This is slightly annoying because other than the tires, everything else is assembled using hex keys (also known as an allen wrench).
