The first Genesis bike was produced under the Ridgeback brand as the Day One model genesis mountain bike in 2001. Due to its popularity, Genesis became a label in its own right in 2006. Genesis was hired to help create a brand visual language to help tie the products into a cohesive whole in the global marketplace. Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position.

Trek will fill all orders placed before it takes over as store owner. Bike service must be completed before Trek takes over, the site says.
