One thing we love about Ozark Trail canopy tents are the accessories that can be added to the shelters. These include sidewalls, weight bags, and a host of other great add-ons that can really increase the use and versatility of the canopy tent. One important consideration to make when looking at camping canopies is their ability to provide protection from flying bugs and insects. We love how easy to they are to use and the benefits they offer are tremendous. The ozark trail canopy patented Easy Peak technology makes setting up the canopy a breeze and provides more stability when compared to traditional pyramid-style frames. The cross bars extend laterally from the hub to create rotational support much like a full cross-truss frame, but the Eagle Peak does so with much less material to keep it lightweight and portable.
No need to mess with the old push buttons that pinch fingers or become impossible to press because they rusted in place. We tend to prefer anchor bags for beach use, but we used the included guy line tie-down anchors for support during our sand testing, and they did a great job at keeping the pop up tent secure during our breezy afternoon. Typical winds on the coastline range from ozark trail wagon 5-20mph, so it’s very important to find a beach pop up canopy tent with weights or tie-down anchors. The welded steel feet also have holes that allow stakes to pass through and help to keep the tent secure. Leaving your canopy tent up will almost certainly reduce the life of the shelter. For these reasons we highly recommend placing it back into the stroage bag after each use.

The included carrying bag that we highlighted comes with two web handles and built-in wheels making it manageable to transport. For the reasons outlined, we believe the Core 10×10 tent is the best pop up canopy for the beach, and we can’t recommend it enough for your vacation. While the alloy steel frame is impressive, the canopy fabric is even more noteworthy. Before we even took this pop up canopy tent out of the wheeled carrying bag, we were struck by the bag itself. The carrying tote boasted a full-length zipper, in contrast with the typical canopy tent bag that only has a zipper around the top.
The speed does not create the prettiest quality on my printer but its still solid and no layer separation. This really is not that difficult of a bracket to design, but it needed to be a 1 to 1 fit and to beef up the corner area so it wouldn’t break again. I have been playing around with 3d scanning but I cant get it right just yet. To our dismay when we fist set it up two of the truss support brackets broke. They are just made out of cheap aluminum and it appears they break very easy. You should further secure side panels, either sun screen or mesh style, by staking them along the bottom using the provided grommet holes to ensure a tight seal that will keep out cold drafts and flying insects.
