Eric Carter is currently heading up our Product Development Program and is organizing our marketing and support efforts. Eric has already committed to a schedule of events, races, and other promotional opportunities to provide visibility to our effort and create the foundation for Hyper Bicycles continued involvement in Mountain Biking. Hyper plans to support and promote Mountain Biking by producing top quality products for Racers and enthusiasts.

The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain bike, with Shimono gear shifters. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so.

All that was required on my end was installing the handlebars, pedals, and battery. Some buyers may not care about spending over $5,000 on an Ebike, but others will and that is where a more budget friendly option comes in to play. Since we have a specific purpose for wanting Ebikes, we were already narrowing down our potential options and some of the more budget friendly bikes on the market.

Hyper Bike Company has a really large offering for everyone in the family, with bikes for kids and adults. Both the Hyper hyper bicycles eBikes and standard bikes are sold exclusively at Walmart so, you can do your searching on their website or Walmart’s website. Both sites will have full product details and descriptions as well as a ton of images of each bike. Last year we locked in a 320 acre hunting lease in Northern Michigan for whitetail hunting.

The Hyper E-Ride City electric bike is commonly referred to as the electric bike from Walmart, as it sold almost exclusively at Walmart locations. The bikes battery lacks range, as the battery can only run for up to 20 miles or 1 hour. The E-Ride City scored a 26 on hyper bicycles our Tower ebike score giving it a “non recommended ebike” rating.

Andi is a gadget guru and mountain biker who has lived and ridden bikes in China and Spain before settling down in the Peak District to become Singletrack’s social media expert. He is definitely more big travel fun than XC sufferer but his bike collection does include some rare hardtails – He’s a collector and curator as well as a rider. As well as living life based on what he last read in a fortune cookie Andi likes nothing better than riding big travel bikes. I’d say that you can comfortably expect the ride time of your hyper Ebike to live up to the manufacturers description. Hyper states that the MTB Ebike has a battery life of 1 hour or 20 miles and I tested this out to see how my bike fared in the wild.
