On our first day briefing we were greeted by a smiling Christopher who set forth expectations of our safari and ensured we all introduced ourselves in a comfortable manner. He did not disappoint; I recall we were ready to have lunch and he heard that there was a lion in a particular area. Obviously on a safari, we wanted to see wildlife at its best. This made the trip truly unique and the best. I have traveled to many countries and been on 3-4 tours.
We went for Kenya safari with Right Choice for 9 days covering Amboseli , Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. It was a dream come true trip for us. This was our first time in Africa and George ensure we had a memorable… We went on fantastic game drives with our guide, Bryson, and saw lions, zebras, rhinos, giraffes, and many other creatures. He knew a great deal about every animal we came across.

This is my first Gate 1 trip, and I am already looking over the travel brochure that was awaiting me at home for my next trip. I hope your other tours and tour guides are as excellent as this trip. I am well-travelled and Charl is the best tour manager I have ever encountered. It was everything I wanted and more.
He shared many experiences and helped us understand the animals and their habitat.Our group was great, we enjoyed each other’s company and made new friends. The resorts were great, being in Masa Mara was amazing , able to see some animals so close to our resort. I have heard about Gate1 in the past and I have shared Gate1 travel with others, although this was my first experience with the company. The trip was very organized, the tour guide was great and fully aware of our itinerary and our travel was always on time. The tour also provided down time to relax if so desired.
Just wanted to expound on my delightedness of my South African trip. Belinda is a true jewel in the Gate1 crown. She was everywhere at once and made my group’s experience totally wonderful.
This definitely was my “best trip ever”. I want to write a detailed review of our trip this January. It was literally the BEST trip we have ever taken! I attribute this to our wonderful guide, Wolfugan, who I understand has worked with Gate 1 for 18 years. He met us, along with another couple at the Kilimanjaro Airport, and we opted to ride in his vehicle for the entire trip. Wolf’s knowledge of everything was mongoose excursion extraordinary.
