Please note, a stock image is included to provide you with a visual snapshot of this item that we could not capture otherwise. The actual product may be a different color or model. My other complaint was the height of the structure. Why not add a little extra height to make it more comfortable? This wasn’t the end of the world, but something I will consider with my next sun shield purchase. Did you know the product is coated with UPF 50+ protection?
Adventure is where memories are made, whether it’s campouts in the back yard with the kids, Saturdays at the river with friends, or a week in the wilderness alone. Ozark ozark trail sun shade Trail helps you and your family create everyday adventures with gear and accessories built with you in mind. From backpacks to tents, they’re rugged and dependable.
I go out to the rural part of the state where it is hot and dry. While this is amazing for evenings around the camp fire, the day time in the ozark trail sun shade sun can be brutal. I can’t handle a full weekend in this type of condition. So I spent the last year looking for a budget friendly sun shade.
Because adventure is not a destination; it’s a lifestyle. We did take it to the beach on a day that had a little wind. It held up well and the stakes held pretty good. I’m not sure how it will hold up in super windy conditions as I have not been able to test that yet. Getting our hands dirty with one of the best sun shelters on the market. And compared to some of the tents in the EZ-Up lineup, it sells for almost a 70% discount. One could, in theory, purchase a new Ozark canopy every year (which they might need to!) and still come out ahead over the years vs. purchasing a more expensive alternative. The canopy fabric is made of a lightweight denier polyester, offering water resistant features and 50+ UPF, which we love. Being protected from the suns harmful UVB rays is probably why you wanted a canopy tent in the first place, and this Ozark Trail tent meets all criteria in this department. The one complaint we have is that there is no vents in the fabric at the peak to release the build up of hot air under the canopy. A square, about 6′ x 6′, with X-arrange fiberglass poles.
If used heavily, I can not see this product making it through a full camping or outdoor season. Upon taking down the sun shield things started to go sideways. The structure is held up by foldable poles connected by an elastic band. There is glue on the ends of the fiberglass poles that keeps the ends of the poles in the required cap. This broke apart the poles from the cap fitting. I couldn’t believe that the glue failed on both sides.
