It’s a cool tent all around, but our favorite feature has to be the 360-degree views delivered courtesy of this yurt’s giant mesh windows. There are three of these large floor-level windows along the walls of the tent, plus the giant mesh doorway that can be left open in good weather. This shelter may be the least expensive in our roundup, but it still packs some sweet features worth noting. Our favorite is the “storage locker” which gives you a protected place to store items like muddy shoes outside the tent, but can also be accessed from inside using a second zipper. It’s a great spot to stash your “middle of the night bathroom break” shoes and anything else you don’t want taking up space inside the tent. Every year, thousands of new campers get their first taste of the outdoors in an Ozark Trail tent.

This means that it’ll do great in summer weather under light rain, but you may need an extra spritz of weatherproofing for more robust weather. Finally, this shelter features a very fast setup (60 seconds). If you’re taking a camping trip with a small group, the Coleman Instant Screen House Canopy Tent is a great choice. Finally, this screen shelter is a little pricey, but one nice thing is that REI has a pretty generous return policy. Having pockets in camping gear is never a bad thing and if you’re camping with a family, being organized is a top priority. Their main purpose is to provide you with a space to get away from insects, rain, and hot sun while being able to sit, stand, and gather in a large group.
Other perks of the Three Room Instant Cabin include an instant tent design with pre-attached poles for easy set-up and dual ground-level vents designed to work with a tent air conditioner. A screen tent is used to provide an extra insect-free, rain-free space around a picnic table while camping. This is one of the larger camping shelters at 120 square feet, and while the setup isn’t quite instant, most people can manage it in under 30 minutes with 2-3 people. The setup on this monster shelter isn’t bad at all either, and it’s also pretty huge at 150+ square feet, so it’s definitely one of the larger screen shelters on this list.
She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. This product from the list of stuff that I wish I never had bought it would in the top two. Setting up the screenhouse you need an army of people to hold the frame in place to ozark trail screen house put the screen over. Then the hooks don’t even reach the holes at the bottom of the poles. Then if you can manage to get that far, you have to run like crazy to get it tied down before if falls over. We bought this screen tent about 2 years ago and just took it out of the box to put it up.
Don’t forget that mesh walls come in various thicknesses as well, which can influence airflow and visibility outside the tent. Take your time and compare it to the previously mentioned Alvantor Instant Screen House which has a similar build. The one downside is that the top of this tent is made from 190T (meaning 190 thread count) polyester, so while this should provide great sun protection, it may not be the most durable. One feature this screen house has that I haven’t seen elsewhere is an entry mat placed over the thresholds to prevent tripping over the edge of the tent.
I contacted Wal-Mart (1-800-WALMART) to see where I could get a replacement pole for the tent. They are idiots and seemed like they didn’t want to help me by supplying me with the manufacturer’s phone number. I have purchased outdoor sporting goods from Coleman and they not only have much better products, but they stand behind what they sell. Absolutely no apology for the poor quality of the product.
Finally, you’ll have a little under 100 square feet of usable space due to the sloped wall design. And the bottom of the tent comes with an extra-wide skirt to keep bugs out (which, let’s be honest, is the main reason people buy screen houses). This tent is very reasonably priced, but for that reason, you might not receive as high-quality a product as other screen houses on this list.
The tent also has two doors which are nice for a smaller screen house, so if space is cramped on the inside, there are multiple ways to get out. Screen houses are large, mesh-walled tent-like structures that are designed to be set up over a ozark trail sleeping bag picnic table. On the other hand, this is a pleasant tall tent but this does not make it suitable for windy conditions. Note also that you have what they describe as a cathedral roof, this is great but this cannot support any extra weight.
