With this new addition, Razor continues its mission of providing affordable, high-quality products that inspire riders of all ages to get outside and play. Razor’s new ebike
This fantastic new ebike comes in a mint and chocolate-colored frame with oversized balloon tires that make going over rough terrain a breeze.
Aside from being easily accessible, this e-bike it’s beautifully simplistic to ride too. It resides within the small category of e-bikes that feel remarkable to ride without any motor assistance. When looking for the best blend of light weight and affordability, the XP Lite is tough to beat.
It’s impossible to get the chain crossed up or do anything bad to this setup. The motor stops assisting when you hit 32 km/h (20mph) with the throttle or pedalling. You can still pedal faster but the motor won’t assist. For most of my riding around trails and small paths in the city, the 32 km/h motor limit is plenty.
So, while my doctor, my therapist, and I all unpack that, this is my full review of the Coston CE e-bike from Schwinn. Generally speaking, electric bikes fall into the same categories as non-electric bikes. Here’s a quick summary of some of the kinds of electric bikes you’ll find.
Some thought was put into the idea there and I appreciated it. The first thing you’ll notice about the Coston CE e-bike is that is built like a tank, which is both good schwinn electric bike and bad. It’s good because everything on the bike feels solid and borderline rugged. The downside is this bike feels about as heavy as a light-armored vehicle.
The wheel lock is a Basta Defender, if you’re curious (apparently now, the AXA Defender). The front fork is an adequate SR Suntour Nex 4610 with adjustable preload and suspension lockout. Why you need suspension lockout on this bike is actually quite beyond me. It sounds like the type of thing Snoopy might fly into combat against the Red Baron.
We really enjoyed pedaling around on this bike, which is offered in both step-through and step-over models. Its battery, while not fully integrated into the downtube, provides plenty of range, and can also be used to charge your phone (with the right adapter). At a starting price of $1,999, it’s reasonably affordable, too. This budget-minded flat-bar road e-bike also uses a smaller motor and battery schwinn electric bike for Class 3 performance, making it one of the most affordable e-bikes we’ve encountered with a 28 mph top speed. Smaller riders, particularly those riders less than 5 feet 5 inches tall face a real challenge when shopping for an e-bike. Most e-bikes are built in a size well-suited to someone 5 feet 10 inches, but the quality of that fit drops the more someone deviates from that height.
