The Core 26.4 came fitted with 2.2 Mountain Kings, the originals not the much improved Mountain King II. The tires grip the asphalt well, and you can get up to a nice speed—so if you oversleep, you’ll have a good chance of still getting to work on time. If your tastes tend more toward a leisurely ride in the country, this bike is going to suit you well. We’d also want to swap those out for something better pretty quickly.
And in high speed gears, you can have a riding exercise. Front disc brake and rear V-brake, although the braking performance of a disc brake is better than V-brake, the Genesis V2100 mountain bike is still designed with V-brake on the rear wheel.
